What is the purpose of Police? To protect and serve, to help the citizens in needs, to help the community, especially when there is crime occurred, no matter how big or small of the crime, that’s when this police department fell short, I called today to report a stolen phone alone with stolen wallet, let me tell you the operator doesn’t care one bit, in fact she can’t wait to hang up on me, whoever handle the call should be fired! Never ever call them for anything, not even life or death, you better know how to protect yourself or else you will be in deep trouble!

Paying my respect to the two policemen that passed away. I called the office and I hope that God blesses there families. Our police keep the peace and they risk there lives everyday. I stand with our police!!!

i week ago i called the police dispatcher because someone hit my park car. The lady told me the police does not come unless there are injuries involved. I thought really since when did the laws change. A police report is to cover yourself in case the other person does not have insurance or takes off. This way you protect your property to make sure the other person has their liability in place otherwise your policy has to pay. So to me this people that are to protect and serve is only at their convenience when they want to do something it gets done otherwise is just laziness. Police need to understand that we as citizen pay taxes to have them come and help when is necessary even if you request service. Maybe for them is irrational but for citizen is important. So El Monte Police step up to the place and do your job when even for something to use is insignificant to us is valid.

IMAGINE YOU HAVE TO GO TO POLICE DEPT TO FIND OUT THEIR CLOSE what I dont get is how can a police dept be closed at night .WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS AND YOU NEED TO GET THROUGH THE DOORS IN THAT MOMENT ..self stop sand bagging and open the doors for the citizens
