Hyatt Regency Orange County

First time staying here. We had a two queen bed room. Plenty of room and a mini refrigerator. The room seemed up to date to me and was in great shape. I didn't encounter the housekeeping staff, but found our room nicely clean when we returned from our convention days. Staff throughout the facility were friendly and helpful. We patronized the ice cream/sweets shop, Starbucks and their convenience store. The prices were higher than back home, but I've never been to California before, so I don't know local pricing. And I know you're paying extra for convenience. It I return to Anaheim, I will definitely stay here again!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Every employee we encountered was gracious and exceedingly helpful. It was spotless and I continually witnessed staff cleaning. There were two pools....one on the upper level where the basketball court and tennis courts are and the other on the main floor. Both are outdoor pools. The whirlpool was the perfect temperature with powerful jets. Also both of our small dogs accompanied us. This was a great location and we felt very safe. Hyatt will be my preferred choice from now on!

A nice well kept hotel with a 70's vibe to it. Typical Hyatt Regency with a large glass enclosed atrium. My room had a large television, Keurig style coffee maker and fridge with glass door. While the room had been recently refreshed with a vinyl wood floor and fixtures, it still had a laid-back beach style feel to it. The beds were comfortable, and although the window was over a busy street, the room was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good with a large selection of quality foods at a reasonable price. Self parking is behind the hotel, so go there directly if you will not be using the valet service. The Hyatt app allows you to bypass the front desk and go straight to your room. It also lets you in and out of the self parking lot. Overall the service was good and the room was clean and in good working order. The location is great, being two blocks from the convention center and about a mile from Disneyland. There is a shuttle bus that will take you right to the front gate for a reasonable fee. The hotel is kid friendly with a pool and recreational area just for families. There are restaurants and shopping nearby. A good place to stay when going to Anaheim.

Overall great place, use keycard and tap to do self parking. Many choices for food inside and around. Clean a tidy room. They joined 2 hotels with the middle glass room. The rooms are older layout and room numbers are hard to logically follow (just follow the first sign after the elevators)
